Sandra Bullock is giving fans a rare look at her private family life, sharing personal photos that feature her children and highlight recent moments with family, friends and work.
The Miss Congeniality actress posted a carousel of photos on Instagram on Aug. 18, offering glimpses into her recent adventures. Among the images were rare appearances by her children, Louis, 16, and Laila, 12.
“Friends, family, fun, fishies, furries, aaaand work,” Bullock, 62, wrote in the caption.
The photos show Bullock enjoying time outdoors with her loved ones. The family appears to have spent time fishing, rafting and exploring the countryside. One image shows Louis and Laila walking outdoors with Bullock’s sister, Gesine Bullock-Prado. In another photo, the children are seen during a rafting trip, although Bullock used fish emojis to cover their faces.
The post also included a deeply personal family moment. Bullock shared a photo from a visit to the graves of her parents, Helga Meyer and John W. Bullock. Her mother died in 2000, while her father died in 2018.

The actress is set to star in Practical Magic 2, reuniting with Nicole Kidman nearly three decades after the pair played sisters Sally and Gillian Owens in the original 1998 fantasy film.
During an appearance at the CNBC Changemakers Summit in April, Bullock explained that her children’s schedules played an important role in deciding when she would return to filming.
“I made this film at this time because I knew my kids were out of school,” Bullock said.
She emphasized that spending time with her children remains a priority. Bullock also acknowledged that having the flexibility to arrange her career around her family is a privilege that many working parents do not have.
Her return to acting marks her first movie role since 2022, when she appeared in The Lost City and Bullet Train. Her decision to step back from Hollywood allowed her to focus more closely on her family and personal life.
