Sharna Burgess’ Dancing With the Stars History
Sharna Burgess first joined Dancing With the Stars as a professional during Season 16. Her first celebrity partner was actor Andy Dick.
She quickly became a regular part of the show’s professional cast and continued competing in subsequent seasons.
One of the biggest moments of Burgess’ career came during Season 27, when she and country radio personality Bobby Bones won the Mirrorball Trophy. Their victory generated significant discussion among viewers and became one of the more debated wins in the show’s history.
Burgess was not part of the professional lineup for Season 28 but later returned for Season 29. She partnered with actor Jesse Metcalfe that season before competing with Brian Austin Green in Season 30.
Her partnership with Green was particularly notable because the two were romantically involved in real life. They ultimately finished in 13th place.
After Season 30, Burgess stepped away from the competitive professional lineup. However, she later revealed that she had discussed the possibility of returning with producers.
