Peacock Premium Plus Joins YouTube Primetime Channels

NBCUniversal has taken another major step to expand Peacock’s audience by bringing Peacock Premium Plus to YouTube Primetime Channels. The move allows users across the United States to subscribe to Peacock directly through YouTube, making it easier to access premium entertainment, live sports, and exclusive originals from one platform.

The agreement reflects NBCUniversal’s growing strategy to increase Peacock’s distribution through third-party streaming marketplaces after years of focusing primarily on direct subscriptions.


Peacock Premium Plus Now Available on YouTube

Beginning June 29, 2026, YouTube users can purchase Peacock Premium Plus through the platform’s Primetime Channels marketplace for $16.99 per month.

The Premium Plus plan offers an almost ad-free viewing experience. While most programming contains no advertisements, a small amount of advertising still appears during select live events and certain content because of streaming rights and licensing agreements.

Customers can watch Peacock directly inside the YouTube app on smart TVs, smartphones, tablets, and other supported devices without switching between multiple streaming applications.

The addition of Peacock strengthens YouTube Primetime Channels by bringing one of the largest libraries of live sports and entertainment to its subscription hub.

Subscribers gain access to:

  • Spanish-language coverage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup through Telemundo
  • Popular reality series including Love Island USA
  • Bravo favorites such as The Real Housewives
  • Universal Pictures films including Shrek
  • NBC television programming
  • Live sports including the NBA, NFL, MLB, Premier League, Big Ten Football, Notre Dame Football, and WNBA

Upcoming Peacock originals, including The Five Star Weekend, Dig, and Crystal Lake, further enhance the platform’s growing content lineup.

Part of a Broader NBCUniversal and Google Partnership

The launch follows a multi-year partnership between NBCUniversal and Google announced in 2025.

That agreement extended carriage of NBCUniversal networks on YouTube TV while expanding NBC content across Google’s ecosystem. It also paved the way for Peacock’s arrival on YouTube Primetime Channels.
