CBS News is entering a new era of weekend programming as Adriana DiazanKelly O’Grady prepare to debut as co-hosts of CBS Saturday MorningonSaturday, January 10. Adriana Diaz: Experience Across Continents and News Cycles
Adriana Diaz brings more than a decade of experience to her new role. Since joining CBS News in 2012, shco-host of “CBS Mornings Plus,” anchor of the Saturday edition of the CBS Weekend News, Asia correspondent based in China, and a Chicago-based correspondent.
Moreover, Diaz has reported on some of the most consequential stories of the past decade. She covered the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi and spent weeks on the ground in Parkland, Florida, reporting on the school shooting and its aftermath. As a result of that work, she was part of the CBS News team that won an Outstanding News Special Emmy for the documentary “39 DAYS,” which chronicled the student-led movement.
More recently, at the start of 2023, Diaz helped break the story about the discovery of classified documentsfColin Kaepernick,Condoleezza Rice, and Tom Hanks highlight her versatility as a journalist.

For example, O’Grady has reported extensively on Federal Reserve policy,interest rate decisions, antariffs affect consumers and small businesses. Notably, she also secured an exclusive interview with a Federal Reserve president, underscoring her credibility in economic reporting.
Beyond business, however, O’Grady’s reporting extends into sports and culture. She has covered NCAA athletes navigating NIL challenges, the launch of a new NWSL team in Boston, and upcoming international sporting events, including the Milan Olympics.
Previously, O’Grady worked as a correspondent and fill-in anchor at Fox Business. Before that, she began her career in finance and later earned an MBA from Harvar, a background that continues to inform her analytical approach.
